grilled greek chicken

Reheating Instructions:

All items are fully cooked. reheating times may vary based on oven type, temperature accuracy and other variables. All foods should be reheated to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit unless otherwise noted. You may check internal temperatures with a cooking thermometer. Insert thermometer into the center of the thickets part of the food to ensure the most accurate read.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Remove the pan of chicken, the pan of rice & the pan of peppers & onions from the vacuum sealed bags

  3. Leave the chicken, rice and peppers & onions in the pans they were packaged in

  4. Cover pan of rice tightly with foil before placing it in the oven so it can steam while it reheats

  5. When oven is preheated place chicken and rice in the oven to reheat for approximately 20 - 25 minutes

  6. About 10 minutes into reheating the chicken, add the peppers & onions to the oven and continue to cook for 10 - 20 minutes

    1. If you'd prefer less liquid in the pan of peppers and onions, heat a large pan over medium high heat and add 1 tbsp of oil

    2. Add peppers and onions to the pan and sauté, stirring often, for 2-3 minutes

      1. HINT: If you prefer this method, make sure to do this step right before the chicken is finished reheating in the oven

  7. About 7-10 minutes before the chicken and rice is done, toss the chopped salad with the Greek Dressing and set aside until ready to eat

  8. About 3-5 minutes before finishing, warm the pitas in the oven

  9. Remove the rice, peppers & onions (if you reheated them in the oven) and chicken from the oven when finished reheating

  10. Uncover the rice and fluff with a fork

  11. Enjoy!
