GENERAL REHEATING

 

Instructions

 

All items are fully cooked.  Our Family Meal entrees are designed to be reheated before serving.

Family Meal entrees are delivered in 2-part sealed plastic containers which can be reheated in a microwave but are NOT OVEN SAFE. 

 

If you plan to reheat your Family Meal, remove contents from the package and spread out on an oven safe baking dish or pan and cover with foil. 

If you plan to reheat your Family Meal in a microwave, you may separate the 2 parts of the package and place the top lid loosely over the bottom container or you may remove the contents and place the meal in a microwave safe dish and cover with a non-metallic cover.

 

REHEATING IN THE OVEN

  • Preset oven to 350-400 F (please see reheating label on packaging)

  • Spread contents of meal on an oven safe baking dish or pan and cover with foil lid.  The more you spread out the contents, the faster it will reheat.

  • A single meal for 2 should get to temperature within 10 minutes

  • Be sure to bring your meal temperature to 165 F before serving.

 

REHEATING IN THE MICROWAVE

  • Family Meal container are microwave safe but are NOT OVEN SAFE

  • Vent lid on meal before reheating.

  • Reheat meals in microwave in rounds of 2 – 3 minutes.  Stirring and rotating products is suggested for best results.

  • Be sure to bring your meal temperature to 165 F before serving.
