byo street chicken hummus bowls

Reheating Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Remove the pan of chicken and the pan of roasted peppers and onions from the vacuum sealed bags

  3. Remove the pita from their packaging and set aside

  4. Leave the chicken and peppers and onions in the pans they were packaged in

  5. Covered the chicken tightly with foil to help reduce the reheat time

  6. Reheat the chicken and peppers and onions for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees

  7. Warm the pita bread 3-4 minutes before the chicken and veggies are done

  8. There are two ways to do this.

    1. Wrap pita in foil and place in oven to reheat. Remove from oven after 2-3 minutes or when chicken and veggies are done

    2. Heat a nonstick medium sized pan over medium high heat. Add pita bread to pan and lightly brown, about 1 minute per side

  9. Remove the chicken, veggies, and pita (if you warmed them in the oven) from the oven

  10. Uncover the chicken

  11. Scoop 1/2 cup of hummus and spread on the bottom of a bowl or plate

  12. Top hummus with chicken, roasted veggies and marinated herb tomato salad

  13. Serve with lemon wedges and warmed pita on the side

  14. Enjoy!
