cantonese char siu pork w/scallion pancakes

Reheating Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Remove the pan of sliced pork, garlic fried rice, broccoli, bok choy and scallion pancakes from the vacuum sealed bags

  3. Leave the pork, rice, pancakes and vegetables in the pans they were packaged in

  4. Covered the pork tightly with foil to help reduce the reheat time and maintain juiciness of the pork

  5. Cover the rice tightly with foil

  6. Cover the bok choy and the broccoli tightly with foil

  7. Once the oven has preheated, add the pan of pork and the pan of rice to the oven

  8. Reheat the pork and the rice for 20-30 minutes, or until heated through

  9. 10 - 12 minutes into reheating the pork and the veggies to the oven to reheat for 10-15 minutes

  10. Meanwhile, reheat the scallion pancakes about 5-10 minutes before the other items are done

  11. There are two ways to do this.

    1. Cover the pan of scallion pancakes tightly with foil and place in the oven

    2. Heat a nonstick medium sized pan over medium high heat. Add about 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the pan (you can do this without oil as well). When oil is hot add 1-2 pancakes to the pan and reheat 1-2 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining pancakes

  12. Remove the veggies, and pancakes (if you warmed them in the oven) from the oven before the pork and rice

  13. Once the pork and rice are heated through remove them from the oven

  14. Uncover the rice and fluff with a fork

  15. Uncover the pork and spoon any drippings in pan over the pork

  16. Serve the sliced pork with 1/2 cup of rice, 1 scallion pancake and veggies

  17. Enjoy!
