byo chipotle chicken nachos

Reheating Instructions:

All items are fully cooked. reheating times may vary based on oven type, temperature accuracy and other variables. All foods should be reheated to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit unless otherwise noted. You may check internal temperatures with a cooking thermometer. Insert thermometer into the center of the thickets part of the food to ensure the most accurate read.

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Remove the tortilla chips from the bag and spread them out in the pan that came with the kit or spread them evenly over a lined cookie sheet

  3. Open the bag of chipotle chicken and spread the contents of the bag evenly over the tortilla chips

  4. Top the chicken and the tortilla chips with the shredded cheese

  5. When oven is preheated place the nachos in the oven and bake for approximately 10-15 minutes or until the chicken has heated through and the cheese has melted to a golden brown

  6. Meanwhile, place the nacho cheese sauce in a small sauce pan on the stove over medium low heat, stirring occasional, until heated through, about 5-10 minutes

    1. HINT: keep the cheese sauce on the stove over low heat to keep warm until nachos are finished​

  7. Next, prepare the guacamole​

  8. Remove the avocado halves from the vacuum sealed bag, and place in a large mixing bowl

  9. Mash the avocado halves with the back of a fork

  10. Add half of the chopped cilantro & a quarter of the pico de gallo  and mix until well combined

  11. Season with salt & pepper 

  12. Remove the nachos from the oven and top with remaining chopped cilantro and jalapenos

    1. Recommendation: pour the nacho cheese sauce over the nachos prior to serving

  13. Serve with guacamole, sour cream and remaining pico de gallo on the side

  14. Enjoy!
