Here at Lunch Wired, we recognize that our clients have many questions and concerns regarding COVID-19. We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to keep you and our team safe and healthy.
We are closely monitoring the guidance of the CDC, state and local Health Departments regarding the spread of the virus in our local area. Our focus continues to be on the best services and food quality while ensuring that we keep you, our team members and our community safe.
Facility Cleanliness
We have trained personnel and contracted cleaning services to ensure that our facility remains cleaned and sanitized between every task and at the end of each day. Surfaces, floors, handles, shelves, kitchen equipment and carts are all cleaned with a heightened degree of awareness to ensure that our production facility remains a safe environment.
We use a nationally recognized purveyor for all our chemical and cleaning materials. With the guidance of our purveyor and the CDC, we are ensuring that we are using the most current and recommended sanitizers, soaps and degreasing chemicals. Additionally, our purveyor also provides us with anti-microbial hand cleaners and paperware.
Lunch Wired has an outstanding reputation with the Tri-county Health Department. They assist us ensuring that our facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation and that training for our managers and staff is provided regularly.
Safe Packaging
We prepare all our ingredients in zoned areas throughout our kitchen. Once your meal is prepared, it is packaged in sealed containers. Each individual meal is packaged in a locking container and then packed in a clear polyethylene bag which limits air transference.
Pickup and Delivery
Once packaged, each order is held in specialized racking.
If you have ordered through our online order portal and your order is for pickup, you will be notified by email as soon as it is ready. Clients ordering by phone will be advised of an approximate pickup time when placing the order.
If your order is for a Community Drop Off, your Drop Off location and scheduled delivery time will have been advised when the Community Drop Off location has been established.
Orders placed for same day availability require a 2 hour preparation window but may be available sooner depending on current demands on our production facilities.
Order for Community Drop Off need to be placed the day before they are required so that we can be sure to procure necessary product for bulk production but all meals are prepare the day of delivery so that you are assured of quality and freshness at all times.
